"This site is an ideal base for walking, cycling and visiting other areas. The site is very tidy and well kept. The owners are friendly and not overbearing. We did not ask about the area so could not measure their local knowledge. The facilities are excellent."

Tip:
"The Falcon Inn has a great atmosphere and good food at reasonable prices. The Ravenscar Tea rooms are excellent with friendly staff. We visited May Beck, Falling Foss and Robin Hoods Bay. The majority of our days were spent walking from site along Stoupe Brow, the Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track. We walked to the Falcon Inn across the moor behind Smugglers Rock and through Harwood Dale Forest."
