"May always goes out of her way to make your stay comfortable. Her breakfasts are always excellent and with a great choice. May gives you all the information on where to eat and where to visit and has never been disappointing.
She is also great at giving accurate weather forecasts. and her homemade tray bakes are legendary. Cannot recommend her b and b enough."

Tip:
"Standing Stones. hotel, Murkister hotel, Murray Arms hotel for very good food. Polly kettle cafe and cafe in St Mary’s (great home made scones) and cafe at Birsay all good food and wonderful views. Harbour grill and happy haddock in Kirkwall are great fish and chip shops. "

"May was quite possibly the best guest house host I have ever had. Cheerful, gracious, immediately responsive to any potential issues. My ferry from Aberdeen arrived in the dead of night but she was willing to wait up for me. She also provided delicious breakfasts and a sweet baked good every night. My room was spacious, comfortable and with a stunning view. I would happily return on my next visit."

Tip:
"The guest house is an easy drive from most of the main sites of Orkney, such as Skara Brae, the Stones of Stennis, the Ring of Brodgar and Maeshowe."
