"Another wonderful stay at the campsite. Hidden hideaway is lovely , quiet small site with very good, clean facilities . It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with amazing views and walks on the doorstep. We love it. "

"Nice little campsite in a quiet, out of the way location.
We were only looking for somewhere with fairly minimal facilities so it suited us. They were kept clean and tidy which is the main thing.
The grass pitches were very generous and our side was also nice and flat.

My only real gripe would be that the showers (electric) didn't appear to be able to run simultaneously which meant that both times I started with a nice warm shower but had to rinse off in cold water. Possibly an inadequate electrical supply?

"Our meal at the Fox Inn at Hallaton was very nice - I'd recommend the vegan burger.

Rutland Water made a great day out from here.

The chip shop in Kibworth is just over ten minutes drive and did very nice fish and chips."

"Ellie was very helpful and was around maintaining the bathrooms every morning so was always there if you needed to ask any questions. The location was good but didn’t help us when it was really windy putting up a tent for the first time 😆 was lovely to be pretty much on the farm and hear the animals in the morning. We went on a walk around there and seeing all the views was really nice. The bathrooms and kitchen facilities were always clean considering your on a campsite ! Lovely little campsite with a big playing field which was great for my 4 year old. Overall a great stay and we will be going back x"

"We went to foxton locks which was only 20 minutes up the road which was lovely was very hot when we went so we didn’t stay for too long but enough to have a go on the locks! Lovely pub as you get there and a good snack place abit further up. And there’s supermarkets only 20 minutes away from the site too which is very handy! "
