"A warm welcome by the owners Mark and Felicity. A beautiful house and gardens, very well presented and maintained - the gardens are stunning, great for children along with the Fairy Trail. Lovely artwork around the house and grounds. We have stayed at many houses over the years, and this beats them all for cleanliness and facilities. The location is perfect for a family holiday, with great beaches and secluded coves nearby. "

"Mark and Felicity made us feel very welcome at all times. They were friendly, pleasant and relaxed and available if we needed anything. We stayed in one of the mews properties which was warm and very comfortable with lovely views from every window. The gardens and setting create a wonderful oasis in a beautiful part of Cork. We have stayed in many self-catering properties in Ireland and cannot recommend this one highly enough."

Tip:
"We loved the Red Strand; the Long Strand; and Inchydoney beaches. We can recommend the Skibbereen Heritage Centre and The Michael Collins House in Clonakilty town centre for an appreciation of local history. Scally’s SuperValu in Clonakilty is an exceptional supermarket - we will miss their peanut butter filled medjool dates coated in chocolate! We also enjoyed being able to walk around the lovely grounds and the local walks close by including to Sands Cove."
