"Riverside Cottage was a beautifully presented little cottage on the banks of the River Aros, close to the ruins of Aros castle and a little beach overlooking the sound of Mull. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here despite the weather!"

Tip:
"The cottage is well situated for access to various places on the island. We visited Tobermory- Sgriob Ruadh farm is well worth a trip, Iona and Ulva which both have some lovely walks. We also took the Turus Mara trip to Staffa which was awe-inspiring.Have your binoculars at the ready - we saw porpoises, otters, sea eagles and a multitude of other birds. We had some fantastic sea food at the Glenforsa Hotel - be sure to book! "

"Riverside Cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the island. The Spar shop in Salen is very well stocked - no need to go to Tobermory for supplies. The Glen Forsa hotel serves good bar meals."
