"Absolutely lovely place - I wish we could have stayed longer! Jane is such a sweet host and makes sure you have everything you need. The farmhouse is quiet and cozy and the rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Breakfast was delicious and it was so nice to chat with Jane and meet her darling terriers. Absolutely picturesque and wish our stay was a week and not just a day! "

Tip:
"The center of Drymen is an easy 15-20 minute walk from the B&B and you can stock up on things you may need at the small grocery or pharmacy. The Clachan Inn was recommended by Jane as a good dinner spot and we both loved it (would recommend the potato and leek soup for sure). If you’re walking the WHW, Drymen is a great town and has amenities that some of the smaller towns do not, so take advantage of it! It’s a beautiful place and everybody was so friendly!"

"Miss Jane is a delightful hostess, and the farmhouse is beautiful and comfortable! I'm very grateful to have had my stay at Shandon farmhouse. I got a fantastic night's sleep after day 1 on the WHW. The bathroom was large and clean, the shower was perfectly hot. Breakfast was lovely, with a whole menu of home cooked items. I chose the porridge and crumpet- delicious!"

Tip:
"Thursday in the summer they had pipe band performances in the square downtown. It was the perfect night to book!"
