"Very comfortable and bright cottage with comfortable seating and beds. Very quiet location. Woodland walk from the door. Lovely natural garden with sunny and shaded sitting areas. Access and parking is good. Location is a good base for York, Howards Castle, and further travel to the east coast and the North York moors. We very much enjoyed our stay and were able to extend it."

Tip:
"We recommend using the Park & Ride for visiting York. We highly recommend Goji cafe close to York Minster for vegetarian food - eat in or take out/picnic."

"Cadtle Howard, York Yorkshire Arboretum all close by and great to visit. Easingwold...beautiful little town with lots of facilities. "

Tip:
"The Crown and Cushion is a good place to eat with reasonable prices. Sunday lunch there was very good. The North York Moors steam railway at Pickering is well worth a visit."
