"A fine house and welcome. We are sorry that we could only stay one night as we were passing through on our way further north.
We saw it in lovely weather so it was beautiful but we can imagine that in poorer weather it would be cosy and the welcome equally as warm."

Tip:
"We chose the Auld Post Office for it's proximity to the ferry from Scrabster so this time did not explore very much of the immediate area.
On the way up we had an excellent meal at Sid's Spice in Brora, well worth it. The harbour at Latheronwheel is a bonny spot. One of these days we'll try to venture west along towards Melvich and beyond."

"It’s rural but only 15 mins to town. Town is nice place to visit but happy to not stay in it. Area was so quiet!!
Owner was great to speak with/provided recommendations.
Bedroom and bathroom were awesome and spacious (with outside seating) Breakfast time was based on our travel requirements (ferry) and was super yummy.
I can’t recommend this place enough."
