"The purpose of our visit to Great Clifton was to see where my grandfather was born in 1885.
We found the staff polite and friendly. Nothing was a problem. The staff introduced us to some of the locals who we would share a drink with on each night of our three-night stay.
The locals were just as friendly as the staff."

Tip:
"Be warned. The food was excellent great chooses. Good value. The only issues was the serves were huge. Unless you can cope with very large meals I would suggest requesting smaller serves."

"Great Inn for a nights stay. Staff amazing helpful and chatty. Lovely bath after a long walk to return to. Correspondence from the Inn was great and they were very organised. Breakfast fab, great chef and waitress staff were so helpful. We will be back!"
