"Whilst we enjoyed our stay we do have a few comments.
The residents lounge area is very public, being situated in the reception area, which is a through route to the toilets.
The inner door to the gents toilets has no door closer attached and therefore continual bangs when used. This was very annoying and could easily be remedied."

We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay. The lounge is for everyone, locals and residents. There are two routes to the toilets and unfortunately we can not say to all guest not to walk through the lounge. We will look into getting a door closer as yes it can get annoying while sat there.

"Really enjoyed my stay the Old Ginn House, like i have done every other time i have stayed there. The staff are really friendly, the food and specials are always fresh and its like a home away from home.

And the courtyard suite is absolutely beaufitul, really modern spacious and super clean"

Tip:
"I travel for work but would definitely recommend restaurants in whitehaven (peddler or vagabond) or in gosforth (the wild olive) after a walk at the lake."
