If you want to live in the woods for a week and watch the weather, birds and wildlife, then come to The Hideaway Lodges. (We had amazing weather with a few showers)
Only issue we had was the shower floor was a bit slippy but we bought a shower mat and left it for the next visitors and if you have limited mobility there are only gravel paths and grassy walkways, you are truly in the woods its brilliant. "

Tip:
"Perfectly situated in the middle of the Isle of Mull to go North and South. I would simply recommend a slow drive round the Island with some snacks and drinks, stop in parking places to watch the world go by and the otters or eagles. "

We are sorry you didn't find the non-slip shower mat - we have one in each lodge and it is located in a mesh bag in the bathroom cupboard. If you ever need anything on future stays please just shout and we will be delighted to help.

"We were greeted by Janine as we arrived who immediately made us feel very welcome with her friendly, cheerful approach. We were shown to our lodge doors and asked if we needed any help with our luggage. We also met Mark too who we found to be equally as friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area with regards to where to find ancient structures, as well as wildlife etc. Both were superb throughout our stay and were always on hand without being intrusive. "

Tip:
"Mull is a magical island in itself but Hideaway Lodges is special indeed. There are Roe deer resident in the woodland around the lodges which you can see feeding right in front of you. Loch na Keal is a haven for wildlife, where otters can be seen on the rocks and feeding in the crystal clear waters, and White Tailed Sea Eagles can also be seen as well as Golden Eagles too. Within a few mile there are Stone Age Cairns, medieval castles, standing stones, old grave yards and so much more to explore, with plenty of walks, and tracks to follow too. Tobermory and Salen are perfect for eating out with a variety of restaurants to suit every palate as well as fresh fish and shellfish available too. "
