"Anne and Robin are fantastic host who will give you as little or as much input advice on your visit to Orkney
They make their accommodation feel like home away from home with all the things you need for the stay
They are bright and cheery and keen for you to have the best experiences on Orkney including your stay at Annie’s Place
During our stay we had fantastic weather with the sun shinning it was also cold and windy but this made for great crashing waves - Anne advised us where best to see these and they were mesmerising
Anne and Robin make the stay so welcoming that we will definitely be back "

Tip:
"We went to a lot of scenic spots while we were here both close (walking distance) and some at the other end of the island but nothing is more than 45-60 minutes away

Yesnaby cliffs and Sea stack lots of crashing waves
North side
Marwick Head fields of rabbits and the Kitchener Memorial
Brough of Birsay fantastic both at low and high tide low for the walk on the island and high for crashing waves
Stack a bank seas stack South Ronaldsay
Windwick south Ronaldsay more crashing waves
Dingieshowe Beach
Ring of Brodgar
Skaill Bay
A walk around both Kirkwall and Stromness

"The apartment is conveniently located for spectacular walks and wildlife watching. It was warm and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on Orkney."

"There is a huge and very informative folder in the apartment with literally hundreds of ideas of things to do, including a suggested itinerary for a week which we found really useful."

"Greated by friendly host Anne & robin who showed us around and explained everything we need to know.

The apartment was beyond what we expected and the pictures on the website don't do it justice.

The apartment had everything you needed to make it a home from home.
A walk through the beautiful garden led to a gate which had stunning views across to the Brough of Birsay and ocean.

Tip:
"There are walks from the garden in both directions and at low tide you an cross over the to the Brough.

There are several archeological sites to visit with a must one at Skara Brae.

Lunch at the Birsay tea rooms just up the lane is also a must.

Far to much to see ahd do a week is just not enough."
