Exceptionally clean cottage with an extremely well equipped kitchen , comfortable beds lots of space to spread out.
A great retreat from the sometimes challenging Highland weather.
Excellent communication with the hosts."

"This is a real getaway location. Beautiful views and endless skies. The cottage is well equipped for cooking, the bedrooms are comfortable, airy and pretty, again with amazing views, and if you want to read or watch TV there is plenty to choose from. It is a short walk to an empty beach with rocks, pebbles and sand when the tide is out. It is just lovely"

Tip:
"This is remote by many folk’s standards. You have to drive single track roads with passing places - which are plentiful and well sign posted. You do need to plan shopping/fuel for the car etc, you can’t just pop round the corner for a pint of milk, or walk to a restaurant. These are not downsides, this is a big adventure, with Dinosaur footprints to see on the beach at Staffin, the story of the crofting lives of Skye at the museum on the way round to Uig and Clan history at Dunvegan Castle, complete with lovely gardens and a boat trip to see seals. Climbing the Old Man of Storr (well as far as the needle) is on well managed paths with stone steps. Fairy Pools similarly has a well marked gravel path up the side of the mountain along the waterfalls. There are well placed car parks and parking laybys all over the Isle (don’t be a plonker and park in a passing place!). Lots of places for coffee/tea and of course cake. If you are going to be there Nov to May ish, download the AuroraWatch UK app you may get lucky with a display of the northern lights and that is the best for notifications. Best tip, relax, breathe deeply and enjoy. "
