"Uig hotel food is fabulous & within walking distance. Also try the Galley for the best seafood ever. Drive the Quiraing road & if you’re game try the Applecross Pass after Glen Torridon on your way to Skye which itself is truly amazing. Don’t miss Eilean Donan castle, it’s beautiful!!"

"Better than home, seriously! If you plan on staying in this area of the island, then stop looking, because you’ve just found the best place available. In all my years of traveling, I have not found a B&B (or hotel, for that matter) with this level of perfection and brilliance! The rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds perfectly firm, and the bathrooms are big and clean, with water pressure better than at home. You’ll find homemade chocolate in the fridge along with fresh milk and always fresh drinking water with a slice of lemon.

Sandy and Margaret greet you at the door every time you come home, and they’ll make sure anything wet from the Scottish weather (yes, it does rain quite a lot) is dry by the time you leave the house again. The breakfast is personalized down to the last detail with fresh ingredients and, in many ways, also homemade every day. Sandy and Margaret take pride in what they do, and it shows. Coming home again after the vacation definitely made me want to upgrade my own house to their standards!

If you want to escape the hoards of influencers and camper vans, Sandy can recommend any number of locations. Can’t recommend this delightful B&B enough, just wish we could have stayed longer.
