"We were traveling with three persons, a mom and two teenage kids. Our family room was very cozy and quite. The room was spotless clean, had a nice little bathroom and provided a variety of coffee, tea and cookies. There was just one thing, we were not prepared for: there was only one huge duvet for the king-size bed. And we are used to having one blanket per person. At our next stop, we found the same facilities and got now used to it. :-)
We enjoyed our stay at Thistle Cottage a lot, and thank Mora for her hospitality!"

Tip:
"The Nevis Range Gondola is close by and takes you up to beautiful views on the surrounding mountains, including Ben Nevis. The Snowgoose Café at the top station is worth a visit!!
The Commando Memorial is not far away
In Spean Bridge, where you can pay respect to the soldiers of the famous Green Barretts.
Thistle Cottage in Torlundy is located at the doorstep to Fort William. So you can enjoy the buzzing small town life and The Jacobite train during the day, but the quietness of a village during the night. We appreciated this circumstance very much."

"The location is close enough to the centre of Fort William for the amenities, but far enough out for peace and quiet. Being dog friendly as well was the clincher, meaning our Border Collie didn’t limit our ability to have the lovely accommodation after a few nights in Bothy’s during our walk to Inverie."
