We had a lovely couple of nights at Tweedledee Cottage, so much so that we have booked a week next month at Thimble Cottage. The village is a really peaceful place to stay but has many amenities. Great place to bring a dog - loads of great walks.

From moment of booking to sorting out a minor issue Rachel was courteous, prompt with replies and very helpful .The cottage was ideal for 2 plus our dog -Harley . It was luxury and romantic in a well appointed older cottage . Modern bathroom , 4 poster bed, log burner, plenty of utensils in the kitchen/diner . Microwave and dishwasher also .Modern large screen TV options and books available for leisure time . The small secure rear garden had sun loungers, table & chairs and was ideal for our dog . Allocated free parking opposite was a bonus in the small picturesque village. A really lovely holiday home from home enhanced by dealing with owners who care -thank you

Ideal for romantic couples break -with or without a dog Very old workers' cottage lovingly enhanced without taking away its' dated appeal . Great position in the village - for easy walking to 3 pubs , local cafes and access to many walking routes . Handy also for visiting Bakewell, Haddon Hall , Matlock and Buxton etc Definitely on our must return list -thanks again for making our holiday a great experience ;-)
