Hilltop Inn is a unique venue - an old house, updated with elegant private baths, large rooms, big screen tvs, lovely common spaces and walkable to downtown Newport. Also, breakfast is homemade and excellent.

We had a great stay. The one suggestion is to do something about the front door which more often than not slammed shut. This was quite loud and frequent. Seems like something could be done to slow its closure and mitigate all the noise.

Owner Response

thank you for sharing... it is a fire door, so it must close automatically. we hope you otherwise had a nice time in Newport!
