We stayed in room 6. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was and view was a. joy. Everyone was helpful and warm. We very. much got the sense that everyone associate with Creag Mhor is like family to each other which made our experience all the nicer. We loved the community lounge with the dim lights, big cozy seating areas, bar, fire place....we truly looked forward to our time in the evening there! We very much appreciated the material in the room- especially the pages with he informative hiking information.

We hiked the Lost Valley- you must go early to get parking, a beautiful. hike! I know there are also other shorter hikes in the area for people to enjoy. We ate at Kinlochlevn seafood -? It was one of the very best meals we had on our trip and we enjoyed the little town and loch there. We hiked Grey Mares Tail which was an easy after dinner walk that did not require boots.

We couldn’t rate Creag Mhor Lodge highly enough. From the location, to the food, to the people, to the whisky, to the lodge itself (not to mention the most amazingly firm mattress we have ever slept on), it all made for the perfect stay. My husband and I still daydream about spending our evenings in the bar sipping independent bottler whiskies and enjoying the warm and cozy vibe of the lodge.

The Clachaig Inn was such a fun and lively pub nearby in such a breathtakingly scenic area of the region. We also enjoyed the shopping in Fort William as well.
