The single room I stayed in surpassed my expectations, super comfortable with a great bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great! Fantastic location for hiking, trail running and wild swimming. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Tips for other travellers

Bring your earplugs! It was a warm night so needed the windows open but the noise of happy drinkers conversations outside got louder and louder until around 11pm. Some of it seemed to be coming from the other pub nearby and possibly the campsite so can’t be helped, especially on a Saturday night.

The staff extremely helpful and very polite. Was happy to help with any problems that you had. I would like to say that Ray was outstanding and so helpful helping out with a problem with mending some glasses. The rooms are A1 right down to the shower cap. Must admit I didn’t won’t to leave.
