excellent stay, very comfortable & friendly

We’ve stayed at The Bridge Hotel in Buttermere several times now, and there’s a very good reason we keep coming back. It really is one of our favourite places to escape to. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. A special mention has to go to Ray, who is absolutely fantastic — warm, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure guests have a lovely stay. He’s a real asset to the hotel. Our room was excellent: comfortable, spotlessly clean and the perfect place to relax after a day out walking. And then, of course, there are those views! It’s difficult to imagine a more beautiful setting. Being surrounded by the Buttermere fells and waking up to that scenery really does make you feel completely spoiled. The whole hotel has such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Lovely food, great service, comfortable surroundings and one of the most stunning locations in the Lake District — what more could you ask for? Another fabulous stay and, as always, we left wishing we could stay longer. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice hotel, that bedroom was great, the bed confortable, it was nice to stay while I was hiking, great quality price The staff was nice and the breakfast was great !
