The Bridge Hotel

We love this hotel. It is located in o Eid the most beautiful valleys in the workd, the rooms are comfy and the staff incredibly warm and friendly. Breakfasts are great. My onky suggestion would be a bit more focus on sustainability eg rooms are often very hit so we have to open the windows. Would also love to see an optional donation eg to national trust or wild Ennerdale on check out. Thanks as ever for a wonderful stay

Gorgeous hotel nestled in beautiful scenery only 5 minutes walk to the lake. All staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with lovely, locally handmade bathroom products. Lovely food available, especially the breakfast. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

We had a brilliant time at the Bridge Hotel at Buttermere. The rooms were super clean with everything you needed. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was delicious. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. The waiter was brilliant, very attentive, he made us feel very welcome. Well done for making our 70 birthday celebration special.
