You will be off grid for most of your visit, which is lovely, but warn your family and friends !

Everything was very nice - the room was good, the location superb, staff friendly and helpful and - at this time of year - a stay is reasonably affordable The food was fine - including some ''sturdy'' winter choices - it could have arrived a little warmer. The food and beer is reasonably priced for such a beautifully sited hotel. The hotel is well-suited to a wide age range

Winter/ early spring is a weather gamble but - for this popular area - it avoids the crowds. The hotel has a lovely olde worlde lounge for particularly rainy days

Beautiful hotel, stunning location. Lots of exceptional walks. A few cafés close Room amenities were minimal and the toilets didn't flush well. Other than that I would recommend. Me and my husband really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend.
