We had another wonder stay at Cropvale Lodge. The Lodge is well located with a wonderful view from the front, what better way to start the day than breakfast alfresco. There’s a lovely big field to the side of the Lodge for the dog to play in. Two beautiful bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely area to lounge in with comfy sofas. The private hot tub is amazing. It’s enclosed in its own building next to the Lodge and the perfect way to unwind. There’s even a fantastic gas barbecue. The owners Sue and Roger are delightful. We discovered this gem a while ago and go several times a year. We cannot rate it highly enough.

There are plenty of lovely areas to see for walkers. It’s not far from the towns of Pershore or Evesham for a stroll around the shops or trip to the river in Evesham. The Cider Mill is a nice local pub that offers meals with the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday. There’s a local Spar close to the pub as well as a fish and chip shop which also do delicious kebabs. The Lodge is in a great, quiet, beautiful location while still being accessible to the local amenities.

The Parlour Barn has all the facilities you would require for self catering. The Barn and private garden was very clean and tidy on arrival and we were looking forward to our first session in the hot tub. The welcome pack of bread, eggs, chutney, apple juice and chocolate brownies was a great addition. We really enjoyed our stay

We spent the days either relaxing in the peaceful Barn and visiting local villages. There are many beautiful places to visit a short distance away such as Chipping Campden. We also went to Stow on the Wold and Worcester which have lots of independent shops and lovely places to eat. We enjoyed Evesham less so! It is up to you if you want to relax and enjoy the Barn or get out and about
