We were greeted warmly and like old friends. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were cooked to perfection and set us up for the day. Chrissie and her husband are attentive and thoughtful at all times, combined with a lovely sense of humour.

Tips for other travellers

We enjoyed it so much that we are planning to return and have recommended it to family and friends. Would recommend the cathedral, followed by a walk along the river. There’s a lovely little bar that serves Belgium beer opposite the old police station( just off the High street ).

Welcoming, friendly and talkative :) If they have it they will share it, perfect hosts, who don't like flowery words. Chrissie cooks up a mean breakfast, not forgetting the toast man Paul, Chrissie's sous chef, chauffeur and the perfect foil for her indomitable humour.

Tips for other travellers

Went to Hanbury Hall and Gardens on this trip, it was a lovely day out. On other journeys up here we have visited Great Malvern and walked the hills, lovely spot. Loads of history throughout Worcester and Malvern.

Chrissie is an excellent host and the rooms are a pleasure to stay in. The breakfast is fantastic, cooked fresh to your order, and I've yet to find a better fruit salad 😋 We've stayed several times here and hope to return again
