Excellent all round…clean, comfortable, great location and convenient parking included for the whole stay. Owner, Kate very friendly and accommodated all our needs. Stayed here before and would always return. Thank you! 😊

Welcoming host, yummy breakfast and spotlessly clean at 2 Cambridge Villas. Complementary parking was a bonus in busy Ambleside and the location of the accommodation was handy for everything the village had to offer. We had a delightful stay. Thank you Kate

Tips for other travellers

Beds slightly soft but very comfortable. The bedroom we stayed in was a little light, even in Winter, additional curtains would have helped as we are used to sleeping in pitch black. If staying in the summer this may have been more of an issue. The local cinema with it's numerous screens is well worth a visit for something different to do in the evening. The walk to the lake is worth the 15mins it takes.

Tips for other travellers

In the heart of Ambleside and easy access around the lakes. The heart breakfast sets you up perfectly for a full days walking!!

More expensive than similar B and Bs, but the standard of breakfasts, friendliness and helpfulness of proprietors and location made this worthwhile. "Smoker"s chair" in garden much appreciated.
