This is our third visit to Casa Rosa and it will certainly not be our last! We would recommend to others but would rather keep it as our own tranquil, wonderful secret!

A fantastic base for the wonderful hilltop towns of Umbria, big and small. You do need a car but the train system from Assisi lets you access all areas. We flew into Pisa, train to Florence, then Perugia and then collected a car from Perugia airport later in the day. Casa Rosa really is an oasis to escape the rest of the world. Thank you Ella and family for a truly magical stay.

Thank you for another wonderful stay at Casa Rosa. As always the accommodation was perfect and we very much enjoyed cooling off in the swimming pool. We look forward to returning in the future!

Assisi with its history and links to the life of St Francis is easily accessible from Casa Rosa. Special places are the Hermitage and the peace at San Damiano And several other beautiful walled towns such as Spello and Gubbio have much to offer

Ella, Alessandro, Alice and Adelaide make you feel instantly at home. Casa Rosa is a little piece of heaven in the Umbrian hills, our home from home.We come back as often as we can.

Assisi iis a beautifully preserved medieval hilltop town, and the Basilica alone contains so much beautiful renaissance art. Perugia and Spelo, and Lago di Trasimeno are all worth a visit. gou can walk straight out of the door into the wooded hills, or venture further afield: there is good walking in the area: we used Alltrails with great success, but I'm sure there are other good walking apps. You're spoilt for choice of restaurants in Assisi, though personally I'd venture away from the Piazza del Commune.
