We last stayed in 2019 and this visit were impressed with the new conservatory, kitchen and redecoration. Communication from booking to arrival was excellent and Mari was very helpful when I spoke to her.

Tips for other travellers

An easy to get to quiet and secluded location just outside of Bala. Good base for visiting places like Barmouth and the steam train from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog and back. Can recommend eating at Plas Yn Dre in Bala.

We had a wonderful stay at Cysgod Bach. It was incredibly peaceful and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, making it a really comfortable place to relax after a day out. The location was perfect for exploring the area and was an excellent base for climbing Mount Snowdon. Mari was kind, welcoming, and very responsive throughout, which made the stay even better. We’d happily return and would highly recommend it to others looking for a quiet getaway with great access to the mountains and national park.

A beautiful cabin in such a picturesque place! It had everything we needed and just a short walk to Bala for food for our trip! The cabin is easy to access and feels so cozy! We had such a wonderful stay!
