Tips for other travellers

Visit Caernau Gardens, made up a mountain and very good food with friendly owners. Llyn Tegid ( Lake Bala) magic on a sunny afternoon.

Thanks very much for a perfect break at your gorgeous cottage in such a tranquil location but still easy to walk/drive the mile to Bala for shops, pubs/restaurants, takeaway food. The cottage was sparkling clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and welcoming with a nice big TV and fast wi fi to relax in the evening after enjoying all the local area has to offer, with walks from the doorstep, bus stops at the end of the road going to Corwen, Llangollen, Wrexham, Barmouth and Dollgellau and plenty of interesting and scenic places within a 40 minute drive away, we were never stuck for ideas. After a rough year, this break restored us completely. We're looking forward to coming again to listen to the gentle river outside the cottage and enjoy the countryside. Thanks again, best wishes.

Tips for other travellers

Easy parking outside the cottage, 4 steps up onto the decking. Good communication from owner who lives next door, so is on hand if needed but doesn't intrude on your holiday at all. It's really private. It's not luxury accommodation, but it's comfortable with good quality furnishings and thoughtful touches, incredible value for money. Beautiful peaceful location.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It is well equipped and beautifully furnished - a lovely place to relax after a day exploring the local area.
