Levelling blocks are essential on this lovely quiet site. Facilities kept spotless and having use of the laundry a definite plus if touring. Interesting ruins to explore, pretty river walks and only 1.5 miles from an M&S food hall. The cafe at the on-site farmhouse does a good bacon butty.

Lovely location. Quiet. Clean facilities. Easy cycling to Durham centre, mostly off road. Mile walk to bus route, with on time bus every hour ( last bus back at 5pm).
