We had a wonderful stay, the site was amazing, it was our first time staying at Finchale Abbey and will be back again , my husband took some beautiful photographs on his walks , we only live 10 mins away but think its is a hidden gem and worth every penny, its so peacefull, extremely well maintained, clean and tidy which all in all makes the stay better than none, we came home a day erlier as it was our wedding anniversary , well done .

The hard standing in our D pitch wasn’t really long enough for our 6.4m motorhome. This was because of the steep slope down at the end. So it was even more difficult to get the van level. These 6 pitches may be more suitable for camper vans. The grey water drop gully was quite tricky to line up to. Because of its position near exit barrier and the slope.

Such a lovely, peaceful site. Being in the grounds of the priory was great too. The toilets and showers were all clean and well maintained, which is always a huge plus point! Lots of facilities locally as well so you didn't have to go far to stock up. Would highly recommend.
