The location of the site is very good, The site is situated next to Fincale Abbey, which is free to look around. There is also a small cafe with a limited menu. there is a very nice 4 mile walk to Durham Cathedral and Castle. The site is only 3 miles away from The Riverside Stadium, home of Durham Cricket Club. The pitches are quite spacious, but they are uneven and many of them are on a slope. The toilet and shower block is in good condition and is kept very clean. There is also a small laundry and a pot washing area. Also there is a dog walking area and there also provide dog poo bags and a dog poo bin. Finally the owners of the site are very friendly and extremely helpful.

Great location for visiting family in Durham. Beautiful site and a bonus of having a lovely breakfast in the cafe on site. Very friendly staff.
