We've stayed many times at Finchale Abbey over the years. It's a lovely and peaceful site. It's set in beautiful grounds with the ruins of the Abbey making a stunning backdrop. Facilities are clean and well maintained and the staff very friendly. It's only half an hour from home so easy to get to if we want a quick break away. Would definitely recommend.

Tips for other travellers
Make sure you take everything you need, especially if you don't want to move your motor home unless you have alternative transport, Sainsbury's / M&S two miles or so away. The site is quiet with pleasant walks along the river.
