Beautiful, peaceful location. Friendly, unobtrusive staff. Feels very special, being able to roam the ruins of the priory and surrounding countryside. Absolutely love coming here!

We had the best weekend staying at Finchale Priory. Booking online was easy and we were kept updated by email with what we needed to do to keep our stay happy and hassle free. The location is beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. We looked around the ruins and had a short walk alongside the river. We also popped into the small cafe which had a wide selection of food and drinks , plus it was dog friendly so no need to sit outside.I would most definitely recommend this site, however it must be noted that it is an adults only site.

Pack your walking boots. There’s plenty to do in the local area , walks, head into Durham city . Your stay is what you make it 😊
