Finchale Abbey Park

Wow! amazing touring site, very clean and exceptionally well kept site. It’s so peaceful all you could hear was the birds singing. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful location set next to the ruins which is free entry, with a riverside and woodland walk. Short bus ride into Durham. We stayed for 3 NTS and will definitely be coming coming back.

Very efficient run site, standard pitch was a bit smaller than we we're used to, but this is explained in the information. Beautiful views and access to the Abbey.
