Lovely peaceful site,very friendly,and well maintained pitches.Lovely little shop for snacks and drinks etc.Fabulous view of the Abbey,and lovely walks along the river.Shower and toilets etc excellent and 100% cleanliness,Definately be back.

Tips for other travellers

Great for EHU and plenty of space between pitches.Easy access,and well laid out site.No matter how small or large your campervan or tourer,it's ideal.The site is regularly checked through the day,so no unruly guests would be tolerated.It is very safe and private.

Finchale Abbey Park has everything you could possibly need except a pub on site. There is a pub half a hours walk away so its really not an issue. The site is clean tidy and well maintained with immaculate facilities A warden rides round on a buggy and keeps an eye on things. He is very friendly and welcoming along with the lovely lady at the ice cream shop and Cafe who was very nice too. The actual Abby is a extra bonus as you get free entry whilst on site. All in all a lovey place to be in beautiful surroundings.
