A stunning location. Pitches are spacious (though we needed to use our chocks to level up - but we did know about that beforehand). Showers, loos and potwash absolutely spotless. Plus a friendly and helpful welcome.

It’s further to walk into Durham than you think - took us an hour and fifteen at a good pace. We got an uber back and it was around £10.

Lovely location, very quiet, even in high season. Pitches are not level, so take chocks. Perfect for dogs. Only negative for me was that the people who live onsite pay no heed to the 10mph speed limit.
