The site is lovely, clean and tidy, but the shower in the ladies leaked water into the main toilet area and was dangerous to other ladies until I cleaned it up. The Abbey is a bonus, but we stay due due to the proximity to our friends house and the attractions round the area. We will be back soon.

Thank you Glynis for your review. We only have a problem with leaking showers in the disabled area. When people are in there for over 10 minutes. This is the reason we leave mop / squeegee hopefully for the person who has made the Floor wet to leave it as they found it. We recommend that you come off the motorway at Junction 63 and get onto the A167 and head South Stay on this road for at least 3 mile and come off at the Arnison roundabout

Never saw any staff apart from a guy riding round on a buggy Great location for beamish and Durham Pitches not level you need chocks on most Well kept grounds and toilet block was very clean I would stay again

Really enjoyed our 2nd visit, great spot Toilets were immaculate and visiting the priory is such a blessing
