Tips for other travellers
I found travelling into Durham from the site very convenient by bicycle. 4-5 miles and approx 25 mins. Mostly flat on off road trail and quiet roads. A couple of steepish short inclines where I got off and walked. Where there is an uphill there will be a downhill on the return. I locked my old bike up in the city and encountered no problems.

Lovely location with well kept grounds including the dog walking area. Toilet / showers always clean and warm. Thanks.

Undulating site so will need levelling blocks (a few are available to borrow from site).
Rural, picturesque, out of the way location. We would stay again.

A bit of a walk to the nearest bus stop. We used taxis to get in and out to Durham and the price was decent between 4 of us.
Bring ramps as most pitches are hilly. The site also has some spares!
