Finchale Abbey Park

Lovely site - just as gorgeous as I remembered from over 8 years ago. Good facilities, beautiful old priory ruins and riverside walk to explore. Nice and peaceful and lovely wildlife. Thank you for a wonderful stay xx

A lovely site with the fantastic backdrop of the Abbey ruins. We were given a large level plot, but many others were sloping. However ramps were available, if necessary! The toilet/shower blocks were immaculate, with very very hot water. As others have said, this site is perfect for visiting Durham, walking along the river. The little site cafe is popular with walkers. We chose here as we had family nearby, but we would definitely recommend here for visiting the area.

Lovely friendly people immaculate facilities landscaping beautiful with the Abbey as a stunning back drop along side the stunning river. Very quiet site would absolutely recommend can't wait to go back
