Finchale Abbey Park

We were blown away by the peacefulness that surrounded us. The beautiful abbey added an atmospheric feel to the site. Facilities were excellent, toilet/showers were immaculately clean. Local wildlife was a pleasure to see running around. The proximity to river walks and the relaxing sound of ripping water again added to the overall tranquility. ANPR system worked perfectly regarding barrier control. It was a total pleasure to stay at Finchale Abbey Park. Only other remark is that 16amp supply across the site would be useful.

Great site, quiet location but convenient for access to Durham (I understand there is an off road walk from the site). Close to retail park for convenient for shopping. Lovely walk around the priory and along the river. Facilities are clean and have everything you could need. Only stayed for one night so didn’t meet staff, booking very straightforward online with good communication via email provides all info required. Can select preferred pitch when booking. Would definitely return
