Kringla Apartments

We absolutely loved our time in Newbigging cottage. It was an ideal base to explore some more islands. We loved the rural setting and the lambs, sheep and cows nearby. We were loathe to leave and hope to return. Thank you Kay for making us so welcome.

Newbigging cottage met our expectations from the booking description and previous reviews. The cottage was a lot more spacious than expected, very clean and well equipped. We would highly recommended Newbigging if you like peace and quiet. Its relative isolation also helps to embrace the beautiful natural wilderness of Orkney.

A well-appointed modern apartment in a good location which is close to a supermarket.
