Nicola and Michael were fabulous hosts, explained the facilities really well and were kind to show us the goats and donkeys. The Parlour cottage was immaculate, spacious and had all the kitchen utensils we needed. Everything was so clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, it’s a beautiful well maintained property. Thank you to Nicola and Michael for making our stay even more special.

The cottages are in a beautiful location on the edge of Dartmoor and within easy reach of the sea and beauty spots.

Friendly owners. Cottages are comfortable and well equipped. A good location as they are right on the edge of the moor. An easy drive for shops and restaurants.

We had Sunday lunch in the Ship in Ugborough. The food was excellent and the staff friendly. If your out and about The Two Bridges Hotel do an excellent lunch. The Strawberry Fare farm shop sell really good produce, if a bit expensive. If the weather is bad or you you fancy a little more relaxing day then I recommend the Round Robin trip. Drive to Toteness and catch the bus to Paignton. The station is just a short walk to catch a steam train to Kingswer. Next the ferry to Dartmouth where theres time for a walk around and Lunch. We went to th Mad Hatters Tearoom and the food was good. Then walk to the harbour and catch the river cruise ship back to Toteness. The price includes all transport described. Book on line.
