Lovely B&B in a very beautiful and peaceful location. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sitting, eating breakfast with a view out to the village below and the sea in the distance is a wonderful start to the day. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and very accommodating, especially if you have any dietary requirements!

Set in a village between Harlech and Barmouth, you are within easy reach of the hills behind the property, as well as the lovely, clean beaches, reachable in a few minutes by car or within walking distance for those who like a hike. A great, quiet location, but only just off the main road, perfect for also travelling further north to visit Harlech, Porthmadog and Criccieth. The National Park has so many walks, waterfalls and beautiful scenery to explore.

Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Paul and Christina. The location is superb with lovely views across to the ocean. Rooms excellently furnished and a hearty breakfast to start the day.

Not far to restaurants to cater for all tastes. Suggest if you find a particular favourite you need to book especially in the busier summer months. Plenty to do in the area to suit all levels of fitness.

If there was an option to give 10 stars I would! Our room was absolutely spotless, as was the breakfast room, garden and the whole place in general. The breakfast was 10/10, we were asked our preferred time for breakfast which was great! The breakfast room has the kitchen built into it so you can see Paul and Christine cooking your breakfast right in front of you which I thought was a lovely touch, all cooked to perfection 👌 We brought our 6 month old puppy along with us and she absolutely loved it, our room overlooked the garden which was very helpful for the dog, and we had a lovely little bag in our room with a dog chew for Lyla which was a lovely touch. Paul and Christine were the perfect hosts, so accommodating and they have literally thought of everything. This place is really special and has that real home away from home feel. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

The Old Farmhouse is in the most perfect location, right in the middle of a lovely quaint town with access to beautiful beaches, you then have Barmouth, Harlech, Shell Island all within a 10-15 minute drive away. We did the Nantcol Waterfalls walk which was a 12 minute drive away and took around an hour with the dog, we then stopped at the Victoria Inn pub for some dinner which was lovely. The following day after breakfast we headed to Barmouth, we stared with the Welsh Flag walk which offers amazing views over Barmouth and the seaside, we then had a wonder around town and stopped for some fish and chips, which is a must!! We then did the Barmouth bridge walk which offers lovely views over the estuary and veered off onto the beach for a wander around before heading back to our accommodation for a chilled evening. Before heading off the next morning we headed down to the beach to walk the dog, the bach access road is around 5 minutes drive from The Old Farmhouse, it is a pebble beach so make sure you have good shoes on! We stayed for 2 nights but could have easily stayed for a week, there is so much to do and see, I would highly recommend a visit.
