Very well maintained log cabin and site in general. Lovely warm, welcoming and helpful members of staff, who kept everything clean and safe, especially in this difficult time. Felt very at home and relaxed throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

We went to a local pub for food one night called Bottle and Glass, situated in Normandy-by-Spital only a mile or so away. Wonderful home cooked food, lovely little pub and very nice Landlord and Lady. Less than an hour from the coast and even closer is the Lincolnshire Wolds, great for walking and exploring.

Had a great time, even though the weather was terrible. The ark is really nice and secluded and has everything you need for the stay, the gas stove didn't work but luckily we had brought our own. Really dark at night so bring torches to use the toilet at night. There is lights around the ark but not enough to light the way. The pull out double bed is really uncomfortable and my wife had to sleep on the single beds with the children as she has a bad back. (me too now lol) there was a mattress topper provided but I think it's in Need of a new mattress. The facilities are great but the weather meant that they could not be used. Location I gave 3 stars as a car is needed if you'd like to eat out or do any sight seeing. It would be nice if the beds were raised from the floor so maybe your bags could be stored underneath to help keep the room tidy as all our clothes were covered in pines from the ground. A bigger gate would be nice to the ark. Was sat eating breakfast Saturday morning in our pj's and had nosey neighbours walking into our secluded area. Small details but I've tried to be as honest as possible. I would stay again but would be more prepared

Hello, Thank you very much for taking the time to review our pod. We really much appreciate your constructive feedback. Beds and more lights are on the list to change for 2021 season already so it's good for someone to also say this. We do have a sign on the gate asking people to not enter when closed but maybe a lock is needed too, we will consider. Apologies about the gas cooker, maybe the gas ran out, there was a spare one in the cupboard. We hope you enjoyed the pizzas on Saturday night! Kind regards, Lincolnshire Lanes

Loved the Ark with its big windows looking out into the woods. Great location and the position in the trees is really special. We saw lots of birds and rabbits hopping around. Nice to have your own kitchen area and toilet too. Lots of space and privacy. Our dog had a great time too.

Lovely location, the lodge was great everything we wanted. Nice to be on a site with others, but to have our secluded bit. Site Owners were helpful when we arrived, everything was as expected. no problems so didn't really need to use them.

Plenty to do in the area, we did walks and visited the RAF Scampton Heritage Museum(need to book in advance). We also visited East Kirby avaition museum. Coast was very pretty just north of Mablethorpe.
