Had a lovely quiet peaceful weekend in the Ark in the Woods. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope to be back next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site facilities are very clean and well stocked. There are fun activities for the kids and families, a play area and a public walk through fields so easy to keep occupied if needed!

We had a great time and would definitely return. Just a couple if suggestions would be cool blocks labelled for each bell tent etc. So there is enough to go round..or a electric fridge. One of the porta loos had leaked before we arrived so that was a bit unpleasant, but as we were a group we just used the other one. Under the beds in the bell tent could have done with a clean. Personally not a fan of cushions provided unless they are all cleaned between each guests? Kitchen / sink facilities were good and clean. Liked being in our own section. Great base for Lincoln. Perfect for star gazing, we were lucky to see the meteor shower. Thank you 😊

Very nice campsite, facilities were kept stocked and clean. I don’t think you should have to pay extra for electric when there is only 1 plug socket which is quite hard to get to. Also paying extra for a shower was a bit much too I think it all should be included in the price. Staff were great though especially when our lights stopped working. But we had to change the batter pack over for them to work again. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The toilet however should be advertised as a porta potty. It was better and easier to use the toilet block. Over all we had a good stay. Something a little different and good for something a little different.
