Jess was a pleasure to deal with, the cottage was lovely in a beautiful location for all local golf courses, restaurants with local pub right on the door step... Would highly recommend...

We cannot praise Clematis cottage highly enough. It is lovingly maintained and has everything a visitor could want. Beautiful quiet location. Excellent kitchen facilities for self catering, even a mixer so we could make chocolate brownies. Loads to do close by

Bridport Saturday market, palmers brewery tour, walk into bridport for bus to charmouth and walk back along coast path. Cerne Abbas giant not worth the drive

Clematis Cottage is so pretty and a lot of care and thought has been put into the renovation. Cotton bedding is a must for us and this was superb. The cottage was immaculate on our arrival and so welcoming. The garden to the rear was a peaceful haven for our g + ts. Such a lovely bolt hole in Eype.

Tips for other travellers

We found Seatown just down the A35 a pretty beach and The Anchor Pub. Symondsbury Cafe just across the A35 was brilliant for a morning coffee, lunch etc and a lovely village to wander around. Bridport was a very welcoming town with lots of independant shops.Lunch at Soul Shine was delicious. We also visited Bridport Leisure Centre for a swim! A very enjoyable week in Dorset

Lovely, cosy cottage with everything we needed. Friendly and helpful contact. Ideal place for discovering the area. Big step from road to cottage which could be awkward for someone with mobility problems.

Tips for other travellers

The Hive is good for fish and chips in Burton Bradstock. A drive along Chesil beach has wonderful scenery. Symondbry estate is unusual, interesting and serves good light food.
