We found the booking process for the lodge easy with good communication. We were a bit surprised that we did not see anyone connected to the accommodation during our visit but this was not a problem as the Lodge was everything we could have wished for, was spotlessly clean and had pretty much everything we needed for a very comfortable and pleasant stay. it was an excellent base for exploring places of interest which we will use on a Group visit to NYM's later in the year. We did initially have a bit of a problem finding the lodge entrance as it is not marked aside from the entrance to other accommodation. The Lodge was quiet and we had many opportunities to see the wild life (including muntjacs) in the fields directly outside the Lodge main window. We will definitely use the Lodge again if we return to the area.

Owner Response
Hello Eric and many thanks for your review. I am pleased you found the booking process and good communication from myself (the owner) good. We take great pride in all our properties here at Low Moor so am delighted you found us spotlessly clean and I agree that we are an excellent base for exploring places of interest. I am just a little puzzled as to what you mean when you say "we were a bit surprised that we did not see anyone connected to the accommodation during our visit ......." I actually greeted you on arrival then spoke to your wife on your morning of departure - it was me, the owner Paula, honestly!! I do hope we can welcome you back some other time. Warmest regards to both, Paula.

Barn Owl is a lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Lovely private garden overlooking fields of sheep and forest in the distance. Definitely would go again.
