Beautiful place and really warm and welcoming. We’ve stayed in one of the cabins and wren cottage. Both were perfect for our needs. Excellent location too.

We have just returned from our second stay in the lodge which was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location to relax and unwind and explore the countryside, great, friendly hosts, we will definitely return in the future.

It's approximately a 15 minutes drive into Scarborough and 35-40 minutes to Whitby. Good information provided about places to eat and drink which we found useful.

All of low moor cottages are beautiful and spotless our stay in barn owl cottage was perfect spacious and spotlessly clean cottage with views over fields towards the Dolby forest, so peaceful, we will come back in the new year

Tips for other travellers

Low moor cottages are close to the Dolby forest and North Yorkshire moors places to eat such as the scalby mills pub with real ales also the plough at scalby (fine foods) also runswick bay is a beautiful place to visit the Royal pub is excellent

The cottage was clean, well equipped and warm. The garden and grounds were well maintained. A lovely peaceful location. Ideal for exploring the area.
