The place was lovely. Underfloor heating kept the place at an ideal temperature. All facilities and utensils were in excellent condition. Would definitely visit again.

Please check your towel arrangements. Our assumption that towels would be automatically supplied, backfired on us spectacularly on our arrival. We became aware that towels could be 'rented', but opted to go and buy some from Scarborough.

Another lovely stay at Wren Cottage…the renovations are gorgeous, everything in the kitchen is well considered (the knives are SO sharp and the non-stick pan is exactly that)…Paula and Dave have thought of everything that many self catering properties just don’t. The cottage is so warm and cozy, it’s our first choice of accommodation for every trip to Scarborough.

If you like roast meat, Baxter’s do a great lunchtime sandwich and The Cowshed have the best burgers, chips and milkshakes!

I always have a day at Whitby which is interesting, and plenty of areas to walk, after the day I always have fish and chips at trenchers. A little bit more expensive than other places but the food is excellent. You often have to queue to get in.
