These cottage’s are beautifully kept in quiet area overlooking the Dolby forest including the sheep, such a peaceful quality cottage we love going there and taking the views in and taking a deep breath of fresh air

Local pubs to visit are the plough in scalby and the blacksmith arms in cloughton but only a few miles from Whitby, it’s an ideal base for a trip to the gorgeous east coast

Having stayed in all the cottages at Low Moor, what a treat Barn Owl Cottage is. Plenty of space, really well appointed, lovely shower, garden overlooking the fields of sheep…can’t wait to come back.

Beautifully presented cottage with every possible detail thought of - cozy and warm for our winter visit . Paula and Dave have really worked hard to make this a lovely place to stay and they have succeeded with a lot of thought and care. A little off the beaten track but still close to all the facilities in the area. Highly recommend

The place was lovely. Underfloor heating kept the place at an ideal temperature. All facilities and utensils were in excellent condition. Would definitely visit again.

Please check your towel arrangements. Our assumption that towels would be automatically supplied, backfired on us spectacularly on our arrival. We became aware that towels could be 'rented', but opted to go and buy some from Scarborough.
