Great little site in quiet surroundings, we stayed in a pod which was well set out with built in beds and storage. The wet rooms were practical with a good supply of hot water and plenty of hooks for clothes. We pre-ordered a fire pit box but it wasn’t in the pod when we arrived but Mike was on hand and sorted this out. Loved the messages around recycling/using tap water instead of plastic bottles and the information on the natural flood management measures around the farm!

We drove across to Haweswater and enjoyed a walk on the fells followed by an amazing meal at the community pub The Butchers Arms in Crosby Ravensworth. Booking is advised, especially if you have a dog as they are only allowed in the bar and space is limited.

Had a lovely stay for 2 nights when we travelled over on the motorbikes. Pod was lovely. Fire pit / BBQ and the starter pack were great. Loved the wash room / toilet facilities. Very quirky and powerful shower. Will definitely be back.
