We had a fantastic weekend in the cottage, it was immaculate, cosy and had all the facilities you would need. Would highly recommend and would certainly return.

We returned home yesterday from another of our biannual stays at this property in Cornwall. We always return because we love the cottage, it’s very clean, warm and cosy, the location is excellent for exploring the south and north coasts, as well as the Truro area. We are able to take our dog and have found some lovely walks. One not to be missed is the Tresillian river from Tresillian to St. Clements. By far the best reason to stay here are the hosts Chiris and David, nothing is too much trouble for them. All I can say is a very big “Thank you”.

If you like honey, you must take home a pot or two of David’s honey. The cream tea on arrival, is always a real treat. Places to visit: Carne / Pendower beach, St. Just church and garden, St. Mawes ferry to Falmouth, Porth Towen, Charlestown, Carlyon Bay, Padstow to walk along the Camel river and try Rick’s fish and chips, tip we buy children’s portions! If it rains Truro is a lovely city to explore and shop.

Amazing meal at Kevin Viner @ Falmouth Arms in Ladock, they have a dog friendly dining area so you don't have to miss out on fine dining whilst on holiday. Great hospitality from Kevin and his wife Jill Tandoori in Probus served up a lovely takeaway curry and lovely food at The Hawkins Arms, dog friendly but do need to book a table. A must is fish and chips in Mevagissey. Great walk from St Mawes to St Just in Roseland. Cardinham Woods and Lanhydrock near Bodmin are great for days out.

This is the umpteenth time I have stayed here, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else for self-catering in Cornwall. A real home from home.
