If you enjoy walking we discovered the two reservoirs north of Falmouth. We walked the circumference of Argal and finished with a picnic lunch in the picnic area. Dogs are allowed on leads.

2 The Court is a real home from home and a very cosy place to spend a holiday. With the Rayburn in the kitchen and the wood burning stove it's great even if the weather isn't.

Probus is an excellent place to have as a base to see Cornwall, both north and south coasts not being very far away.

We love staying here and have lost count of the number of times we’ve returned. The cottage is perfect for a couple or a family. It is equipped with everything you’ll need and more, it’s also very warm and cosy. The location is good for visiting the north or south coast and Truro is only a few miles away. Chis and David are great hosts and if you like honey, you must buy some of David’s.

If you have a dog we recommend Pendower, Carn and Carlyon Bay for good beach walks. Out of season Porthtowan is also a good one. Very close to the cottage you can also walk along the river from Tresillian to St. Clements. On the way back from the river walk stop at Mary’s Pasties in Tresillian for great pasties.
