I cannot recommend this cottage enough. The location is perfect for those who want to be away from the touristy areas, but still have them within easy reach. It is spotlessly clean and very cosy, and the hosts' hospitality is, in my opinion, unrivalled. Stay here once and you'll want to come back.

In the village there is a pub, farm shop, a couple of small grocery stores, petrol garage, fish and chips shop, plus Indian restaurant and Chinese takeaway. You also don't have to go much further afield to find a Waitrose and other pubs and restaurants. The location is also very central for getting out and about, and accessing both the North and South coast.

Really nice place to stay - a ‘cosy’ property, esp with the wood burner. And the Rayburn in the kitchen gives you another really warm place in ‘bad’ weather. Well equipped kitchen means you don’t have too go out, if you don’t wish. Good central location, ideal for north & south coast and not that far too, St Ives for example.

Another lovely, relaxing few days to see off the winter blues. As always the cottage was impeccably prepared by Chris. We were as warm as toast and enjoyed the log burner. The scones are always a welcome, thoughtful treat. Needless to say we will be back in the autumn.

We know the area so well after our many stays at 2 The Court. It’s like home but we always enjoy Mary’s Pasties from Tressillian, a trip to Padstow to walk along the estuary towards the sea and towards Wadebridge. We ventured to Charlestown and got throughly soaked but still managed an ice cream! There are lots of dog walks locally and further a field, so we find staying here extremely dog friendly.
