Had a lovely 3 night stay to bag some Munros (including number 200 🎉) in the area. The hostel was clean, well-maintained and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Loved seeing the woodpeckers and other birds from the kitchen window at dinner times and chatting with Helen and Greg who were friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

Congratulations on getting past the 200 Munro mark. You are now 1 ahead of Helen! Hopefully we will see you again soon. There are 65 Munros within a hour’s drive of the hostel and some of them must still be on your list. We very much appreciate the lovely review.

This is the best independent hostel I have used in Scotland. It is spotlessly clean, very spacious, and the facilities are excellent, including a very big drying room. Also, very friendly service from the owners.

Tips for other travellers
Invergarry itself has limited amenities so stock up with food supplies before getting to the village. The Invergarry Hotel is a bit pricy but the quality of food is excellent, we used it one night and self catered the other two nights.

We’re so happy that everything went well for your final Munro trip and that you enjoyed your stay. Thanks also to one of our regular guests for recommending us to you. Now that you’ve been here once we hope that we’ll see you again as you embark on the Corbetts. Invergarry village has a small shop in its filling station but the nearest small supermarket is in Fort Augustus. We have a large and well equipped kitchen but we would recommend stocking up with supplies before arriving here. The nearest actual supermarkets are in Fort William and Inverness.

Such a great place and host! Greg gave us plenty of useful tips about things to see. We could not have asked for more.

We’re so glad that you enjoyed your stay. It must have been a challenging trip to Scotland in such poor weather, since you had your little one with you. You definitely made the most of it and it was a pleasure to meet you and suggest places to walk. We’re always happy to share the local hidden gems which the guides don’t tell you about.
