The studio is well resourced and suitable for a single person or couple. There is a small outside space for sitting, this is fenced so a little dog can potter around. If you cross the road and walk down the farm track there is a lovely view of the Axe valley but sadly the tea shop on this lane was closed until further notice. Parking is next to the studio which is great for unloading and loading.

The local pub, the Hunters Lodge was hosting a wedding when I visited. The menu was pretty much meat based. There were some silly rules about dogs not being allowed on the grass which meant having to sit on the roasting decking amongst the wedding party. So sadly cannot recommend. Well worth driving into Lyme to source the large range of restaurants and pubs on offer.

It was up a quiet lane, our room(The Snug) was compact and had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to watch he sunset each evening. The local made ginger biscuits on the table and bottles of milk and water in the fridge were a very nice touch. Comfortable quiet location.

Monkey World for anyone including adults, rescued apes and friendly staff. The Royal Standard in Lyme Regis, we'd of avoided if entering of the Front as lots of people out front, we found this walking down the lane parallel to the front. Marco's Italian in Budleigh Salteton
