The location was easy to find and within easy distance of the beach. There are lots of games to play with as a family or with friends on a bad weather day. If board games aren’t your thing there is a large selection of films to choose from that can satisfy any age group. Even though there were restrictions due to the Covid issues we were unable to use the self service kitchen but they did supply us with tea and coffee facility’s in our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and well kept. Overall it was a very pleasant night and we are already thinking of when to try and book again.

While in Weymouth there are so many things to do, I would recommend a trip to the Nothe Fort it’s a big walk or a short drive, they do lovely food and amazing views. Slightly further away there is Portland bill, a lovely lighthouse and amazing coastal views. In Weymouth there is a wonderful array of stores for all budgets and interests. Just down the street from the clock heading toward the swan car park opposite the train station is a small cafe that do the most amazing breakfast I have ever tasted and the price is so cheap. If your interested in a night life further down the front there are two wonderful pub/clubs first is called Aura where you can relax and enjoy some food and drinks and second there’s the Nook if you fancy a wide choice of cocktails. Further still down the front there’s the pavilion where there are show to entertain everyone. There’s a small fun fair with an arcade. The harbour is the perfect place to do crab fishing and enjoy more of the history of Weymouth along with some awesome fresh fish eatery’s. there are speed boat rides and you can also get a short boat ride across to the Nothe from here. At the bridge there is a wonderful chip shop where they sever one of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted just under the pub. On the beach itself there are rentals of pedal boats and the old Punch and Judy wasn’t there sadly this year but normally is there too. There are sand sculptures to view and if you like them a small drive away there’s an all weather sand sculpture attraction which you can get the info for from near the ones on the beach which have activities for all ages. I love Weymouth and have been all over.
