We really enjoyed our stay at the Glebe Barn Apartment. Great views of the Sgur and a handy location for walks. Its a lovely apartment with comfortable beds and a well appointed kitchen. A couple of large Eigg mugs and larger breakfast bowels are our only suggestions. Thanks for a great stay. Andrew and Petra

Everything about our time on Eigg was wonderful- we felt really at home in the cosy apartment, which was super clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Thank you Tamsin and Stu!

The walk up the Sgurr isn’t as intimidating as it looks! - and the 360 view at the top is unbelievable. But be sure to go on a clear day! The ridge walk above Cleadale is also fantastic. We also really enjoyed the two little museums - one in the old shop halfway to Cleadale, and the crafting museum at no. 6, Cleadale. And don’t miss the local beer!!!

Use all the forest and local walks, hidden treasures and way better than the road.

The proprietors welcomed us at the pier and drove our baggage to Glebe Barn. The accommodation is extremely well equipped, so we had no need to call upon the proprietors during our stay. I have every confidence that, in the event of any problem, they would pull out all the stops to find a solution

Glebe Barn is very well located, and the island is sufficiently compact to allow it all to be visited on foot. Shops and restaurant at Galmisdale pier are close at hand, as is the Eigg Brewery in the opposite direction. The island is truly spectacular in terms of scenery, geology and wildlife. The local population is welcoming and friendly. The island is amazingly tranquil.
