Perfect house on a perfect spot in Skye. Nice owners, clean and fully equipped! We had a very nice stay at Gairloch View Holiday Cottages

Old man of Storr is amazing! And drive around the north side of the island, from the house to Uig. Beautiful landscape

What a lovely host! We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and we had everything we could possibly need. A very enjoyable and relaxed stay.

Tips for other travellers

Skye was very busy with tourists. Almost all accommodation was full so we were lucky. Book early to avoid disappointment. There are very few cafes and restaurants and they were mostly booked or you need to queue to get in. Recommend you know where a local shop is and have your own supplies.

The property was as shown in the listing. The listing did state it had a dryer which we assumed meant drying machine- were disappointed it was just a clothes rack. We were also disappointed that for the amount of money we paid to stay for 3 nights that we were expected to strip the beds and organise the linen prior to leaving- we feel this should be included in the service. The view was stunning and it was well located for a lot of the outdoor spots skye has to offer in the north. Thanks for having us.
