Tips for other travellers

Bit of a walk into town for us now that autumn is here but thoroughly recommend Mike’s Taxis. Very reasonable. Plenty of places to see and just ask Lewis he is a mind of info and very helpful

So welcoming. Fabulous host , nothing to much trouble, the Earlsdale is full of fabulous features, breakfast was fantastic, choice was fantastic, could not fault anything, spotless everywhere,fantastic rooms , would definitely stay again if in Ilfracombe again .

We spent a few days at The Earlsdale to celebrate our anniversary and we loved it. Amazing building, gorgeous decor and great hosts. We stayed in room 1 which was spacious but felt cosy, beautifully decorated and with a sea view. Home made cookies in our room on arrival which were absolutely delicious- vegan and GF (I don’t even like cookies!) Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty with a great selection . We bought a jar of homemade marmalade home 😊. We will definitely stay there again.

Tips for other travellers

We ate in The Smugglers, cute and cosy little restaurant in Ilfracombe. A day in Barnstaple is always lovely and we had a fab Indian meal at The Tiffin, staff very helpful and attentive. The aquarium in Ilfracombe is worth a visit especially if the weather isn’t great, although I think we were only in there half an hour, I’m sure you’d be in there longer if you had children with you.

Das ganze Hsus ist in sich stimmig. Sehr liebevoll arrangiert die Gastgeber sind fantastisch. Ich habe mich rundum versorgt gefühlt und es war ein absolutes Highlight.
