A really, lovely, genuine and honest place to stay. Lewis and Jamie obviously love running their bnb and this conveys through the beautiful decor, attention to detail and amazing food and service, absolutely faultless. It was a pleasure staying at The Earlsdale.

Anne-Marie - thank you both so much, a wonderful review: top scores, kind and generous words - we couldn't ask for more. It was a pleasure having you both here and we look forward to seeing you both again soon before the big move! Thanks again Lewis & James

I couldn't fault the facilities or the owners, Lewis and James, who went beyond the call of duty on all fronts. The breakfasts are great and typically feature James' brilliant home cooked extras (such as malt loaf, muffins etc). Great attention to detail in all areas. Brilliant hosts and a great place to stay.

It's located towards the edge of the town and about 10-15 minutes walk to the centre and harbour.

We have just spent two nights at the Earlsdale. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff. The choices of breakfast and the quality of the food was excellent, the en-suite bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommendable.

The food at the Italian restaurant was very good and when back at the Earlsdale we were able to have a drink in the bar. Ilfracombe is an ideal place for discovering North Devon.
