This B&B is really lovely, from the minute you walk in, you are made to feel welcome by the hosts Lewis and James. Our room was very tastefully decorated, really clean and comfortable, we were in room 1. Breakfast is super tasty and plentitul. The property is about 10-15 walk from the centre of I|fracombe. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Tips for other travellers

We really enjoyed the beautiful coastal walk from Ilfracombe to Watermouth. We liked the Lime Kiln which is a lovely spot for a drink and a meal. We also ate in the George and Dragon which was a good pub meal and you get plenty.

I’ve been to Illfracombe many times but this has by far been the best place I’ve stayed. Fantastic service from the minute we arrived. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Hosts are amazing. Very attentive and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast choice is vast and always so lovely and fresh with great portion sizes. We have returned 6 times and each time is as fantastic as the last. This time, we returned with our family to celebrate our wedding. Lewis and James made us a yummy afternoon tea & grazing boards. We honestly cannot thank them enough. All the rooms are luxurious with stylish finishes and super comfy beds. You will not be disappointed by choosing this B&B. We can’t wait to return!

The Earlsdale is a fabulous base with a lovely harbour just down the road. Many boat trip available. There are many beautiful walks in the surrounding area. Many lovely places to eat & drink too. Must visits: Hele Bay Hele Corn Mill & Tea Room Combe Martin Woolacombe Beach Woody Bay Station Watersmeet Lynton & Lynmouth Storm In a Teacup The Old Mill
