Scottish to the core! Outstanding service and hospitality. Patsy goes the extra mile and pays a lot of attention to detail. It’s the extra touches such as the good quality soap, shampoo, bed linen, wine glasses, the best towels! Great shower. Great variety of breakfast options available. Being a local, she is up to date with everything in the area and more than happy to sit down and have a chat, provide guidance to the traveller. She offered a cup of tea/coffee upon arrival, and at other times. Simply the best!

Bettyhill Hotel has great meals. If there are children in your party the Geisse Farm is a great option.

Once again we have had a wonderful two week stay with Patsy. The best host we could wish for. The service was excellent and the accomodation is first class. Every effort is made to ensure our stay was the best experience possible. This was our 5th visit and we look forward to return in the future.

A fabulous bnb! Patsy was an amazing host, so friendly and attentive - nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful additions. It was so nice too to have the large and comfortable guest lounge to relax in at the end of the day. Patsy also made us a delicious supper one night of potato and leek soup and toastie.

Tips for other travellers
We had dinner out on two nights - the local Strathy Inn and a bit further afield at the Halladale bistro. Both very acceptable. The surrounding areas are nice to visit. We enjoyed the Castle of Mey and coastal scenery at Dunnet Head. We also did a nice walk to the ruins of Castle Varrich from the village of Tongue. Beautiful views from the top, if a bit of a steep climb in places.
