Very Accomadating and inclusive. We will definetly be staying again soon. I was able to park right in front of my room which was amazing compared to the average hotel and the staff were very informative and very happy to help us. Thank you.

Great place to stay, good location, lovely big room, enough plugs including by the bed. Nice bathroom and shower. Full length mirror and smaller mirror for hair etc. Everything you need. Easy parking. Easy check in, host (sorry, can’t remember his name) was very friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have your own front door. Would definitely stay again.

Tips for other travellers

Great fish and chip shop in the high street, but does get busy at times. We stayed here specifically to go to Puzzlewood. It’s definitely worth a visit. Also RSPB Nagshead. Lydney harbour is lovely, nice walks along the Severn. Offa’s Dyke is nearby, would recommend a walk to the Devil’s Pulpit. It has great views over Tintern Abbey. Tintern is a pretty place with part of the Wye Valley walk. The Butcher’s Arms in Coleford is great, food lovely. Also The Orepool Inn in Coleford is great, food lovely. There is a nice community cafe in Brockweir where we had some delicious soup.
