Eat at both The Anchor and The Dolphin and enjoyed both - unpretentious pub grub but good pub grub

A warm welcome from hosts Nette and Col at delightful Durham House. Our room was spacious and provided everything for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the excellent shower adjusted to satisfy every preference. The breakfast menu is varied catering for a range of tastes. Durham House is a comfortable clean warm and welcoming accommodation with nothing too much trouble to make your stay a lovely experience

Plan and pre book evening places to eat in Beer as they can get busy and some are not open seven days a week. We enjoyed evening meals at The Smugglers and Gina’s during our stay. The Barrel of Beer served a tasty fresh Hake at lunchtime and the High Tide beach cafe sandwiches are also very good

We have lovely time while staying in Durham house. The hosts are warm and relax, no fuss at all. Our room is cosy and clean, beds are comfortable. The breakfast are well prepared, delicious, and lot of choices. We love it very much.
