Fantastic hospitality and location! What a joy it is to stay in a genuine owner-occupied B&B. Beautifully situated on a quiet residential street overlooking central Oban, with all its attractions (including the excellent eponymous distillery) just a 5-minute walk downhill. Oban's distinctive McCaig's Tower is a 5-minute walk uphill. Filled with original artwork by talented family members, the house is warm and welcoming. We stayed in a lovely ensuite twin room on the top floor, with panoramic views over the town, bay and Isle of Kerrera. Breakfast was a gourmet extravaganza, enjoyed in the ground floor dining room looking out to a tiny, secluded front garden full of birds. Thomas and Isabel are perfect hosts. Friendly, attentive, solicitous, mindful of the small touches that make a stay special--like bringing us a birds field guide when we showed interest in the birds visiting the front garden feeder. This is the place to stay in Oban!

We have been in Oban several times and Failte is the best B&B ever, among them we have visited. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was excellent and Thomas is a very friendly and helpful host.
