Do not go to the Flying pig !! The Google reviews don't match ! Go to Alberts or Brown Sugar for dinner !! The Sunday Roast is amazing at Alberts ?

Jo was a lovely host. Very friendly and very accommodating to my needs on this visit. I had everything I needed in the room and the coffee,milk and sugar were replenished everyday. The place itself was very convenient to the train station and only takes about 10 minutes to walk. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will hopefully be coming back next year.

Tips for other travellers

I recommend using the bus service as they were fantastic. With a little bit of planning you can get to most places so definitely pick up a timetable. The walk down to the lakeshore is a 20 minute walk but again there is a bus stop just at the end of the road which is convenient. Plenty of restaurants either in Windermere or down at the lake shore.
