Tips for other travellers

Bowness is a very busy part of Windermere. There are buses that travel around the lake, which is handy because there are few places to park when busy.

Great hosts very friendly. Breakfast was lovely nice and hot, choice of cereal, juice, full English and toast, jam and marmalade.

Tips for other travellers

Accommodation right in the heart of Windermere with shops bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Bus stop at the bottom of the street which takes you down into Bowness and all the Lakes. Would highly recommend.

As lovely as a person as the owner is with great hospitality, a delicious full English breakfast, we found the bed to be very uncomfortable. If a new mattress replaced what we slept on then we would recommend this B&B.

Thank you for your lovely review, however, I felt I needed to address the mattress comment! All of our beds and mattresses were replaced less than 2 months ago! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate everyone’s choice of mattress! Some say too hard, some say too soft! There’s never been a truer saying though - you can’t please all of the people all of the time!
