Charming experience. Large room and en suite, with plenty of storage space. Excellent breakfast. Absolutely beautiful surroundings.

Just a bit tucked away, but only just off the main road on the left, over the bridge towards Pateley. There is a small sign by the roadside.

That this was my third short holiday in a couple of years here, is testimony to how lovely it was, is and no doubt will be next time for me. Lovely breakfast, room and bed. Everything's clean and tidy. Mary's the perfect, friendly host; thinks of everything a guest might need/want/prefer, and she's very knowledgeable about the local area and well beyond. Five Stars, plus!

Tips for other travellers

Pub (Clarendon, with 2 Rosettes) 5 mins walk away, for excellent dinners. Tea Room is a short stroll away, but the name is a misnomer, because they also serve excellent food - often very busy! Down a lovely, wooded path, and you're at the river Wharfe - to the right leads to Grassington, and to the left, over the suspension bridge is to Burnsall. Lovely, on the level, walks. One of Yorkshire's beautiful areas; after all, it is God's Own Country!

We had a lovely weekend at orchard house. A really cosy, homely b & b, very comfy room and a super breakfast waiting for us at a time of our choice in the morning

This b & b is a very good base for exploring the surrounding area. We had a really interesting day in nearby Skipton with lots to see and do. We would definitely recommend this property

If you’re looking for cosy, comfortable, exceptionally clean accommodation in a peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful countryside with good walks very near at hand then Orchard House B&B is the perfect place stay. Our weekend stay was wonderful! Thank you Mary.
