Lakeview Holidays

We've just had our 3rd stay at Whelford Pools/Lakeview holidays this year. The first time we stayed at Barley Pool for a week, the 2nd a mix of Barley Pool and a few nights on Top Lake, and this time my husband and I stayed in Grebe while my son fished on Top Lake. We have loved every stay, and immediately look for the next time we can book when we get home! Ollie, Stephen and Gemma are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The accommodation we have stayed in is always spotlessly clean with so many thoughtful touches to make your stay comfortable. We have brought our dog each time as the accommodation set up is really dog friendly (although huge apologies for the muddy paw prints on the duvet cover this time!). The location is beautiful, and so much to do in the local area. Highly recommend a stay with Lakeview Holidays, even if you're not planning to fish! We're looking forward to trying out some of the other accommodation on our next stay :)

House was perfect , only thing I would suggest is an outside shed / storage for fishing tackle .

We had an amazing weekend away at the 'The Willow' lodge to celebrate a 40th birthday, and it couldn't have been better. The location was perfect for a group of lads looking to relax and have some fun. The fishing was brilliant plenty of great spots and really good catches, which kept everyone happy. The local restaurants and pubs were excellent too, with warm atmosphere and great food and drink options just a short trip from the lodge. It made the whole weekend feel even more special. Inside the house, the games room was a huge hit. From start to finish, it gave us loads to do and kept the celebrations going long into the night. Overall, a fantastic place for a memorable weekend. Highly recommended for anyone planning a group getaway or special celebrations/great for families also.

This was our 3rd stay, and we will be back again :) Beautiful lodge and lake provides an idyllic peaceful break. There’s a reason we keep coming back :)
