Wonderful place to be based Claire and Phil were so welcoming and kind- above and beyond at every opportunity Pod was fantastic, really cosy even in the high wind Absolutely best experience

Stop and read every info plaque Down load aurora app Visit the craft cafe and pier all the beaches are phenomenal Look up the tides so not to miss light house or caves

Lovely relaxing stay. Great views. The island has 2 well stocked shops plus home cooked meals at the snack shack on site so no need to stock up fully before arriving on site.

One of the best campsites I have ever been to. Watching the northern lights from my tent with the darkest sky in Europe, was just amazing. Together with the breakfasts and other meals, which were unexpected and beautiful. With a kitchen where everybody meets and talks, this is something else.

Tips for other travellers

Beware that out of season there is are very few facilities. No pizza, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. One pub was about the lot. But the pub is walking distance from the camp site, and sells good food!
