You will need longer on Sanday than you think. We had four nights, we could have done a fortnight!

Claire is so welcoming. It's an amazing place. The cottage is perfect and the pods are great.

Beaches are amazing. Look at the Heritage centre and preserved croft. 59° North for coffee and cakes or a lovely meal. Kettletoft Craft centre, for lunch, or tea and cakes. Fish and chips takeaway from Kettletoft pub.

Very welcoming and accommodating owners. Lovely campsite with a great location for both just sitting out but also exploring the island. We had our bikes and found everywhere was a nice distance to explore. Facilities only marked down due to the need for more toilets - but the owners know this and have planned works for the winter break. As such I expect when we next visit (as we will return) to be marking this as a 5 as well! The kitchen has everything you need as a tent.

59 degrees North pizza - definitely worth a visit. Backasail beach is really lovely and Stove beach often sheltered for kayaking from.
