Excellent place. Lovely and clean, well equipped recently painted and touches added. Very conservation minded, with feed for birds and private gardens area which provided a view towards the lochs and surrounds. Highly recommend.

Tips for other travellers

Historical Atlantic Convoy Museum on the door steps, Inverewe Gardens as recently shown on BBC with Monty Don. Gairloch store with all sorts of goods worth avosut.

We would definitely return to Aultbea Lodges stayed in dog friendly 3 Lodge it is very well organised and clean . Location is lovely and peaceful . Great to observe diverse visiting birds encouraged by the owners complimentary bird seed .

NTS Inverewe Gardens visited 3 times in a week - fabulous Poolewe - lovely riverside walk / Pool house interesting exhibition and lovely cafe Gairloch beach great sheltered bay Gairloch farm shop great for fresh meat / fish if cooking meals Old Inn Gairloch - wonderful fish specials
