A charming B&B with fully appointed, clean, comfortable rooms. Tom the owner, was super friendly and always helpful. Breakfast options were broad, and you won't go away hungry. Will definitely stay at the Avalon if we return to the area.

We visited without a car, and the train station and downtown Carlow are a bit of a walk but totally doable for anyone without mobility issues.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended

Good location, 10min walk from Carlow town entre. Clean / tidy / spacious / well appointed / comfortable / quiet room. Excellent breakfast with many choices to suit all. Tom is a welcoming and friendly host full of local information. Hope to return when I'm back in Carlow area.

10 min walk from Carlow train station. 10 min walk to Carlow town centre. Good carparking facilities on site. Fast electric car charging point under installation.
