We had the most amazing stay at Stonechst Bothy. The property itself is even more stunning than the photos show. Laura and Phil are perfect hosts, never intrusive but always making sure we had everything to make our stay was perfect. We experienced every season and even a little storm while we were there and nothing could have taken away from the beauty of Skye or our home for the break. Would return in a heartbeat, and hope to have the opportunity to do so.

Tips for other travellers

Do not let the weather stop you from exploring Skye and all her beauty. A little bit of rain doesn’t detract from any of it. There’s something breathtaking to see round almost every corner!

Tips for other travellers

Visit - the old man of Storr ( good weather needed , get there early as car parking is an issue) , Fairy pools ( watch out for potholes) , Eilean Donan castle. Also Portree harbour
