Our second visit this year. Plenty to do in the area, cottages well equipped for a relaxing holiday. Peggy and Rod are excellent welcoming hosts.

Park and ride is good for trips into York. We also used the trains from Selby station. Selby garden centre is good for a coffee/lunch

Lovely, spacious cottage which was very clean and well equipped. The cottage is in beautiful gardens (we loved picking fruit in the orchard and even saw a hedgehog!) The cottage was very peaceful and quiet. Fantastic, helpful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to those needing a cottage when some of the party have mobility issues. We had a great stay, thank you.

There are several places for food in Riccall. We have been several times to Il Burro Italian in the windmill. They have a ramp , but reaching to it the path is rather steep. Breezy Knees gardens are amazing and very accessible for a wheelchair, as are Burnby Hall Gardens, both worth a visit. Both have good places to eat and feeding the carp is the lake is quite an experience! If you military planes then visit the Yorkshire Air Museum. In Escrick
