We had a lovely stay with our physically disabled son. Peggy and Rod were very welcoming, checking that we had everything we needed and even left a Lemon Drizzle cake which was a lovely touch. The cottage was spacious, perfect for wheelchair users and beautiful windows looking out onto the grounds. We enjoyed trips to nearby Selby and York Designer outlet as well as further afield to Whitby and Leeds.

The owners, Rod & Peggy, are so welcoming, and nothing is a bother if you need anything. The cottages are warm and well furnished, with a fantastic kitchen.

Such a lovely place to stay. My daughter is a full time wheelchair user, and it's always difficult to find accessible accommodation...until now! The cottage was perfect, enough room, profiling bed, hoist, toilet chair, wet room. More accessible than our home. Our dog loved it too. Rod and Peggy are so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed it so much, we stayed an extra day and have booked again for next year. The location has easy access to York and other towns villages around.

We had a lovely restful break. The hosts were more than welcoming. Used the trip to confirm that it was suitable for my husband who is perminately in a wheelchair and found no hidden problems. We booked for our summer holidays knowing exactly what to expect.
